Crispy Roasted Cabbage Steaks - Holistic Wellness and Health

Ingredients

  • 1 head green cabbage, dark loose leaves removed
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse sea salt or Kosher salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil, avocado oil, or sesame oil

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice the cabbage into 1/2 inch thick steaks
  3. Brush with oil on both sides and place onto cookie sheet.
  4. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
  5. Roast for 18-20 minutes or until caramelized.
