Sautéed Squash and Onions Recipe - Holistic Wellness and Health

Prep Time: 10 minutes |Cook Time: 15 minutes|Total Time: 25 minutes 4 servings

Ingredients

● 3 tablespoons olive oil

● 5 medium yellow squash, sliced

● ½ medium sweet onion, diced

● 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional)

● 1 teaspoon sea salt, pink Himalayan salt, or Kosher salt

● ¼ teaspoon black pepper or red pepper flakes ● 1 teaspoon dried basil

Directions

1. Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium heat.

2. Add onions and cook until onions are translucent.

3. Add squash, basil, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper and sautée until squash has become tender, about 8-10 minutes.

4. Remove from heat. 5. Serve warm.
