INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 3 cups filtered water
OPTIONAL
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2-4 Medjool
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Pour water, oats and optional ingredients in the blender and blend on high until smooth.
- If desired, strain the oat milk by pouring it through a nut milk bag (or cheese cloth) into a pitcher or bowl. Use your hands to squeeze the milk out of your nut milk bag. Once no more milk is coming out, you can freeze the oat pulp to use later.
3.Refrigerate your oat milk until chilled.
4.Store your oat milk in the refrigerator for 3 days. Shake thoroughly before each use.
NOTES
*Use oat pulp in baked goods and smoothies.
*You can drink the milk without straining if you want a thicker milk.
